Why See Hans Zimmer?

hit it, maestro

You might not know the name, or what he looks like, but trust us, you'll know his work. Second only to John Williams, Hans Zimmer is responsible for some of the most iconic themes from the silver screen, lending his legendary composing talent to movies such as Inception, Gladiator, Pirates of The Carribean, The Dark Knight Trilogy, The Lion King, Interstellar and many, many more. Last year saw the German maestro helm his first European tour and now he brings the fun to our shores, promising a full-scale concert, with special guests from the world of Rock and Pop.

Working steadily since the 1980's, Zimmer has clocked up apperances on over 100 film and television soundtracks, in a career that has seen him heavily lauded, he has won to date, one Academy Award, two Golden Globes and four Grammy Awards. This year you'll hear new work on frequent collaborator Christopher Nolan's Dunkirk and you may have spotted his credit on the BBC's nature epic Planet Earth II!
