San Francisco Symphony - Nightmare Before Christmas in Concert

Why see San Francisco Symphony - Nightmare Before Christmas in Concert?

"Wouldn't You Like to See Something Strange?"

In 1993, Tim Burton released his spookiest, most ghoulish feature film yet, creating a new Christmas tradition in the process. Beloved cult hit, stop motion feature The Nightmare Before Christmas crossed festive fare with chilling elements of Halloween for a rollicking adventure filled with morbid, yet loveable creatures, undead romance and what would become Burton's trademark gothic story telling, not to mention a memorable, instantly singable score by Danny Elfman.

Just in time for the festive season, the San Francisco Symphony once more conjures the movie's devilish delights with a special live HD screening featuring live orchestral accompaniment. Classic songs like 'This Is Halloween', 'What's This?' and 'Oogie Boogie's Song' punctuate the sweeping tale of Jack Skellington, the leader of Halloween Town, who's grown weary of the same Halloween celebrations year in and year out. A chance encounter with Christmas Town and their joyful festivities inspires the Pumpkin King to take over Christmas with disastrous results...
