World Premiere

The legendary, career-making TV show gets the musical treatment in this highly anticipated new show from the minds behind Broadway's Ain't Too Proud and Once On This Island, launching its world premiere this summer at A.C.T's Toni Rembe Theatre. 

Celebrating the impact of DJ Don Cornelius' creation on the cultural landscape of the 70s through to the early 2000s, Soul Train is set to be a joyous depiction of the show's early days and how it broke boundaries for black music and dance by propelling the black experience to the mainstream in a vibrant display of exuberance that drew viewers of all races.

Written by MacArthur Genius Dominque Morriseau, Soul Train is choreographed by Camille A. Brown and directed by Kamalah Forbes.
