2016 is a year of retrospection for Denver's The Fray as they release their first ever Greatest Hits compilation. Titled Through the Years: The Best of The Fray, the album collects all the band's favorite tracks in chronological order, alongside three brand new songs, which they'll be playing live for the first time on these dates. In the support slot are American Authors, best known for the widescreen, optimistic anthem 'Believer'.
By pitching their music somewhere between the arena-friendly style of U2 and the mature, piano-driven pop-rock sound of bands like the Counting Crows and Coldplay, the Fray have earned themselves a devout fan following around the world. The band rose to global commercial prominence with their 2005 debut album which contained the single 'How to Save a Life', the follow-up to their national hit 'Over My Head (Cable Car).'
