Great for the whole family!

Our family went on opening night, and we all thoroughly enjoyed it. The performances were strong, especially Ryan Drummond (The Old Man) and Katrina Lauren McGraw (Miss Shields). Khavan Bhatia (Randy) was particularly fun to watch -- what a firecracker! Jonah Broscow, who plays Ralphie, is a star in the making. Not only is he an excellent singer, but he captured the essence of Ralphie's hopefulness and imagination. The music was great, too. As we were leaving, I overheard more than one group (mine included) singing -- or whistling! -- "Ralphie to the Rescue." ... Read more

Perfection, Streamlined, Honest

This intimate theatre was perfect for this perfect comedian. His writing and presentation was flawless.. He reflects an honesty of our human species which quickly disarms the hearts of the audience. I felt like I’d just had a heart to heart with “Uncle James”, who’d humorously disclosed his personal feelings about growing up. It takes great skill to cleverly and clearly communicate private insights of one’s own journey through life, and most certainly courage. James Acaster does it all. He is an extremely talented storyteller for any age group. His ability to use such effective body language and his facial expressions are so entertaining, his anecdotes immediately engage his listeners. He needed absolutely nothing else but himself on stage except the simple black background. No distractions. Good decision. He was that good. Comfortable, intimate seating allowed the audience to fully enjoy his show. This classy comedian is a joy to see in person! Perfect evening! ... Read more
