Through the lens of an online friendship gone awry, exciting new playwright Walt McGough leads us into a virtual world where the line between the pixellated and the real monsters is blurred, questioning the landscape of games we play and who truly emerges victorious when social justice collides with social media.

Loosely based on the fall out from the GamerGate furore and the way we use our online avatars to reach out to each other, Non-Player Character promises to be a comic and vibrant theatrical journey into the internet's inner workings, beginning with central couple Katja and Trent's foray into the virtual world of SpearLight and the unethical means for revenge Trent resorts to after their friendship implodes.
