Why see Jon Batiste?

Maestro tour

The socially conscious, eclectic artist, pianist, singer, and composer, is stepping into the spotlight on his intimate 2025 Maestro Tour.

The recipient of a breathtaking 11 2022 Grammy Award nominations and four wins, including Album of the Year, and four more noms for 2023, Jon Batiste is one incredible musician. You might recognize him from his tenure as Stephen Colbert's magnanimous bandleader or have heard his Oscar-winning score for Pixar's Soul (with Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross), or even with one of his genre-straddling collaborations with the likes of Stevie Wonder, Prince, Willy Nelson and more.

With such credentials, a Jon Batiste concert is not to be a simple affair, except a philosophical and intriguing adventure instead, as Batiste draws on myriad influences, including indigenous folk, pop, R&B, and many more, to present his defiant and socially conscious vision of Jazz 2.0.

Modern day Mozart!! Look out world!!!

I was blown away with the concert! Is there an instrument he cannot play?! Loved the drum duet! It is not often at a live concert that the “Live” voice is better than the recording. Pitch perfect! And his energy and smile. Wow!! Had goose bumps from beginning to end. Cannot wait to watch his journey unfold.. He has just begun!!! ... Read more

Eclectic sounds...is that a thing?

Jon came and did just what he said he would do. He invited us into his space and feelings. For those expecting a typical traditional concert, this was not the performance. I loved the performance and the atmosphere. It was a night for families, friends or dates. And, the acoustics were great. Thank you for inviting us into your space, Jon! ... Read more
